Description
These tiny harvest mice (micromys minutus) are right little acrobats. They are so light, only 4-6 gram, they can even hang from one ear of wheat! They build their spherical nest of tightly woven grass, high-up in the tall grasses. This requires some balance and agility! I have seen them before at a wildlife rescue centre and they are such fun to watch.
