My paintings are mostly a mix of watercolour and acrylics, but every painting is an original and unique work of art.

Ceramics

It can be really nice to create something out of nothing and clay is a really good material for that. The items I have for sale have all been fired so a bit sturdier than air dry clay.

I became interested in needle-felting a few years ago and love the character it can bring to my creations.

Almost everything here for sale on my website is the original work,  but I do have a limited number of cards and prints available too.

Featured Pieces

Just a few of the pieces in my collections.

Collections

Many of my works are one-offs, but frequently I put together a number of pieces that follow a theme, subject or style that I have been working on.

FLOWERS

I can never get enough of looking at flowers.  All those beautiful diverse colours and shapes which you can see back in my paintings.

Birds

I love watching birds and I love painting birds.  With their curious expressions they always make for fun paintings.  In our english countryside we are so lucky to have such a diverse range of birds on our doorstep.

Horses

Ever since I was young I have loved horses and I still do. I have spent many hours trying to capture their personality and physicality.

Zeeland

The county where I grew up in Holland; Zeeland. has its own distinct landscape, culture and traditions.  I have been drawn to  and especially the big strong workhorses.

Interested in placing a commision?

Although always busy with my own works, if you have a particular request or idea you would like to commission, then please have a look at my ‘commissions’ page, where I explain how the process works and get in touch.
